Galvanised washers are used on various aerial cable fittings. Galvanised washer 4 is used on bolt arms. Galvanised washer 19 is used with nail bonding and strip aluminium to secure cables to wooden poles.
Galvanised washer steel tubes 16, 17 and 18 are used to secure Universal Pole Brackets or UPBs to poles where the bolt is too long.
Galvanised washers are manufactured in galvanised steel, to ensure that corrosive substances are unable to reach the underlying steel. This ensures that the washer keeps its structural integrity when securing fittings.
