Duncan was the initial founder of Networks Centre in 2005 and was MD up until the acquisition by Alcadon Group in 2022. Duncan is now the Senior Vice President UK
Since its beginning in 2005, the company has enjoyed rapid growth and is now one of the largest network infrastructure distributors in the UK. Duncan is very hands-on, with most of his time involved in all aspects of the company and working with the Management team to plan for future growth. His can-do attitude and understanding of customer needs will ensure the group continues to expand profitably.
Being the father to 3 boys, he enjoys watching most sports and enjoys playing golf and skiing.
James joined Networks Centre in 2013 as Sales Director of the company. Following the acquisition by Alcadon group, James assumed the position of Managing Director. Prior to Networks Centre, James was a successful global account manager for one of the world’s leading manufacturers of physical infrastructure solutions, Panduit.
James utilised his 15 years’ previous experience in the industry, to develop the project and solutions side of Networks Centre, particularly in the Data Centre space. This enabled Networks Centre to become a leading solutions provider. As well as managing the internal and external sales teams, James who is BICSI RCDD accredited ensured that the business evolved to become a trusted partner to some of the UK’s largest and most prestigious businesses.
As well as having a young family, in his spare time, James enjoys listening to and playing music.
Luke became a part of Networks Centre in 2021 as a Key Account Manager, leveraging three years of prior experience in the industry with another distributor. In November 2022, He transitioned to the role of Enterprise Sales Director, Luke oversees sales operations at both the head office and the Glasgow office.
Managing both the external and internal sales teams as well as overseeing the marketing team.
He is dedicated to maintaining Networks Centre's esteemed reputation as one of the premier distributors in the market, prioritizing an unparalleled customer experience.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Luke is a devoted family man and in his free time, enjoys golfing and supporting Arsenal Football Club.
After working in a number of B2C sales roles, Sam joined Networks Centre in January 2012 where a role as Junior Account Manager allowed him to combine his passion for sales with a love of technology. Networks Centre recognised his attentive, customer-centric and solution-oriented approach to working with clients crystallise into the key business tenets of linear and dependable sales growth combined with accurate forecasting all built on rock solid commercial acumen.
In recognition of this work, Sam was promoted a number of times over the years and currently manages a team of 4 staff executing some of the most complex and challenging projects on the continent, both in the people-space and data centre environments.
When he’s not working you can find Sam watching his daughters play cricket, riding his mountain bike or running in the Sussex countryside.
Elliot joined Networks Centre in 2015 and is currently FTTx Sales Director. His role involves speaking with busy procurement professionals who want to make sure they are getting the best deal, service, availability, and product. Mainly aimed at the UK Altnet’s, ISP’s and contractors. Elliot also looks after the distribution team and enjoys enabling people to flourish and grow in their roles.
Outside of the office, Elliot enjoys sports, mainly football, rugby, golf, and anything thing that requires being competitive. He is also a foodie and enjoys both cooking and eating! Elliot’s taste in music varies between 90’s house, progressive house, rock and electronic.
Keith is Technical Director at Networks Centre. He originally joined in 2009 as a Product Specialist, focusing on technical sales. As his experience grew, he moved on to become UK Distribution Account Manager at Fluke Networks.
In this role, Keith developed key relationships and grew his area within his channel, specialising in copper certification testing, fibre optic testing, network, and wireless testing.
Keith returned to Networks Centre, to develop the training initiative, setting up our Training Academy. This new facility now delivers a range of City & Guilds, BICSI and manufacturer-led accreditations. As well as training Keith has also developed other service offerings such as hire & lease and Concierge Care for Splicers. Keith continues to provide the benefit of his extensive knowledge through employee and customer training and sits the current UK and Ireland BICSI Vice Chair. In his spare time, Keith is a keen motorcyclist and enjoys the outdoors.
Nick’s role as Group Technical Pre-Sales Director began in January 2023 after years of working alongside Networks Centre as a customer.
Day-to-day, Nick provides pre-sales and technical assistance to ensure the right products and services are selected. Most of his day is spent talking to customers, understanding project requirements and making recommendations. With a BISCI RCDD and NTS certification under his belt, Nick ensures customers get the best possible solution for their projects.
When he’s not applying his expertise to complex technical challenges, Nick is a keen tennis and snooker player with a love for fast cards and family camping trips!
Alison joined Networks Centre in 2007 as the Operations & Finance Manager and is now Finance and Commercial Director. She previously worked in the finance departments of both large corporates and SME businesses.
In her day to day role, Alison employs her strong commercial background and more than 30 years’ experience in the finance and insurance industries, to manage all company finances.
She is MICB certified and a long-standing member of the Institute of certified bookkeepers.
In her spare time Alison enjoys spending time with her family, walking and horse riding with her two daughters.
After joining the company in 2008 as Office Administrator, Katie has progressed through several roles in the purchasing department of the business before being promoted to the role of Procurement Director in 2020.
Overseeing all manners of the Purchasing operations and a team who are responsible for all purchasing for the Networks Centre Group, Katie brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry and business operations. Obtaining CIPS Level 2 Advanced Certificate in 2017. Katie’s eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, reporting and logistical knowledge truly set her as a standout leader in her field and an integral asset to the business.
Outside of work, family is her core focus, spending quality time with her young son. In between work and Mum life, Katie has a passion for gardening, baking and all things holistic, so much so, she is also currently studying Holistic Health Practices.
Ronald is looking after Networks Centre’s Dutch subsidiary, having opened on March 1st 2021 in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Ronald started his career in 1990 in the network infrastructure industry, in The Netherlands. In this field, he has been working for distributors and vendors, both locally and internationally.
In his current role, he will manage the Dutch subsidiary and contribute to achieving Networks Centre’s goal of international expansion whilst serving as a base to assist our existing European customers.
In his spare time, Ronald enjoys restoring and riding 50cc Honda old-timers as well as jogging in the outdoors.
Ewan joined Networks Centre as Branch Manager for Glasgow in 2021. Starting in the industry in 1997 and having worked in various roles, from warehouse, through purchasing, sales, QA, and department management, Ewan has been able to grow and adapt to new roles taking experience from each forward into the next.
In his current role, Ewan oversees the daily running of the Glasgow branch, assisting in internal sales and performing the duties of an external for Scotland. Ewan has certifications in internal auditing, first aid, and various warehousing and safe working procedures, and is fire warden trained, all of which help in the safe running of the branch.
In his spare time, Ewan enjoys spending time with his two children and playing golf.
