Fluke Networks 1G Fibre Media Converter Kit for LinkIQ

Test fibre optic network ports with any LinkIQ™ Tester

Fluke Networks’ Fibre Media Converter (FMC) kits allow any LinkIQ (existing or new) to connect, understand and debug the fibre port connections by determining application, switch name, port name and VLAN and verifying connectivity using IP ping. The FMC includes the FiberLert™ Live Fibre Detector for checking the presence of fibre optic light and determining polarity.

The 1G Fibre media converter kit includes 1 Gb/s Fibre Media Converter, Power bank, cable for charging bank and powering converters, SFPs (1000BASE-LX, 1000BASE-SX), single-mode and multi-mode fibre cords, RJ-45 cable, and a carrying case. 

• Connects to 1 Gb/s (1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX)  fibre Ethernet ports through a media converter and SFP (1G) using single-mode or multimode optic fibre cables
• Compatible with LinkIQ Cable+Network Tester and LinkIQ Duo Cable+Wi Fi+Network Tester
• Fibre optic network testing features including: IPv4 and v6 ping, nearest switch diagnostics (IP address, name, port / VLAN number)
• Power bank for portable operation
• Includes single carrying case for LinkIQ/ LinkIQ Duo tester, media converters (1G ), battery pack, fibre optic patch cords (single-mode and multimode), RJ45 connector cable, SFPs (single-mode and multimode) and accessories
