Extreme Networks Compatible SFPG High-Speed Direct-Attach Copper (DAC) passive cables from Siemon provide a cost-effective cabling solution for today's rack design needs as well as future equipment upgrades. These forward compatible cables are designed to work with 10G SFP+ Extreme Networks equipment without generating warning messages, and they may be used to migrate to 25G SFP28 equipment without having to change cabling.
These DACs have dual-rated CM/LSOH jackets for global compatibility and come in lengths ranging from 1m to 3m, with half-meter variations available. The completely insulated, passive assemblies are impedance matched to assure compatibility and prevent EMI leakage and combine twin-axial cable design with strong die-cast housings for increased support of high frequency data rates.
