Duncan Lindsay Departs Networks Centre Group
20 years since starting the company, Duncan Lindsay is taking a step back from his role as Senior Vice President of Networks Centre and Alcadon UK.
In 2022, Networks Centre joined the Alcadon family, which Duncan described as an excellent opportunity for us by allowing larger group operations but with the expertise and service you expect from us.
With branches opening in Glasgow, Amsterdam and Oslo, as well as the acquisition of Comms Centre, Duncan’s bold leadership and taste for innovation has led to Networks Centre Group’s huge growth across Europe.
“I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved.
In 2018 we did our first acquisition when we acquired Comms Centre, which has turned out to be a marriage made in heaven. In 2021 we started both NWC BV and NWC Scotland (still in covid!), both of which have been phenomenal successes. Watch Norway fly as well.
The Networks Centre Group team have been amazing, all the staff that have been and gone, I have so many great memories. I look at it with astonishment with what we have built. Without doubt, the best there is in the industry.
I came up with the idea of starting it in mid 2005, but I didn’t build it, we all built it. The team will continue to build it and I will enjoy watching it go from strength to strength.”
- Duncan Lindsay

Continuing to lead the way will be James Reid, Managing Director, who has worked closely alongside Duncan since joining us 12 years ago. James’ experience in the industry, paired with proactivity and drive for growth, will no doubt propel Networks Centre further into new opportunities. Networks Centre Group would like to thank Duncan for everything he’s done. Not only starting the company, but driving it to where it is now.
Here’s to celebrating Duncan and his incredible achievements!
