The Jonard armoured mid span cable slitting tool is designed to slit open 4 mm - 28.6mm jacketed and armoured fibre optic cables and is perfect for gaining mid-span access to armoured cables. This mid span cable slitting tool features the following:
- Adjustable depth
- Precision steel blade will cut through the toughest materials, ensuring no damage to the internal fibres
- Blade can be set to be longitudinal for slitting or radial for ringing
- For use on cables 4 mm – 28.6 mm
- Cable wheel provides stability and enhances movement along jacket
