Networks Centre Goes Above and Beyond to Help a Customer Fulfil Their Project Requirements

The customer is a fibre installation company that was working on behalf of a large data centre provider delivering cloud services in Scotland.
The customer had ordered Siemon racking systems to mount IT equipment and connectivity in their client’s data centre environments. Their office in Dundee had placed the order and the products were delivered there. The problem was that they needed the products at their Aberdeen site.
Booking a collection from Dundee and redelivery to Aberdeen would mean that the installation would be delayed by two days. Our customer needed the products installed in a shorter time frame and they would face penalties if there was a delay – so we had to come up with a quicker solution.
We contacted the site in Dundee and arranged to collect the products early the next morning using our own vehicle so we could deliver the products to Aberdeen as quickly as possible.
We were able to get the products to our customer in Aberdeen by 10am the next day. They were extremely satisfied with the outcome as it ensured that there was very little downtime.
They were able to fulfil their project within the time frame provided and did not need to make their client aware of any delay.
The managing director of the company sent us a personal email thanking us for going above and beyond to ensure that the project was completed within the required time frame.
