Networks Centre Scotland turned 3 years old this July and we have managed to fill that time with some fantastic achievements, events, partnerships, and projects.

Headed up by branch manager, Ewan, the team of 3 sprang into action to deliver high quality products and services to a new market. The team’s expertise, helpfulness, and drive quickly gave them the reputation of a trustworthy and reliable group, always up for a challenge.

The aim to open a branch in Scotland was fuelled by a gap in the market for a reliable, local, and friendly distributor with expert knowledge on products and customers’ needs. In 2021, Networks Centre put new roots down in Glasgow with warehouse space, a unique trade counter, and a dedicated team.

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights since it all began...

Customers were invited to the brand-new facilities for an Open Day style Grand Opening in collaboration with some of our partners. A display of industry-leading products and services, presented by technical experts was a fitting celebration and a great day for everyone that dropped by.

Over the past 3 years, Networks Centre Scotland have hosted a number of training days in partnership with Fluke Networks to offer in-depth, hands-on experience with some of the industry’s leading equipment from a trusted manufacturer. Customers walked away with valuable knowledge they can implement into their workday to ensure they are getting the best out of their Fluke testers. We value our partnership with Fluke highly and look forward to hosting more manufacturer-led training days in the future.

The supply chain of just 66 miles between our office in Glasgow and Leviton’s Glenrothes facilities has elevated our partnership and driven success in excellent projects. One particular project involved providing top Leviton products for Glasgow’s first Net Zero Carbon office building. With the support of Leviton, we were able to deliver high quality products that met required specifications efficiently, sticking to project run times and deadlines.

We have had the pleasure of visiting Leviton’s Glenrothes facility several times over the past 3 years and always benefit from seeing their industry-leading products in person.

Thank you to all of our partners who have been instrumental in the success of Networks Centre Scotland and helped us support our valued customers with their projects.

We are proud to support sustainability and the environment by always looking at how we can improve as a business. ULEZ-compliant vehicles, green energy across all of our locations, and sustainable options provided by some of our suppliers allow us to deliver a uniquely sustainable solution.

Networks Centre Scotland notable mentions:

Richard Tait

Arranging the building, permits, architects, and shopfitters. Richard was instrumental in Networks Centre Scotland becoming a reality and without his hard work in getting these essentials arranged, we wouldn’t be in the excellent position we find ourselves in. Working as Business Development Manager, Richard took a great enjoyment in helping the branch grow until his well-earned retirement in June of 2023. Richard still pops in from time to time to see how things are and hear about the many customers and suppliers he enjoyed working with during his time.

Lewis Stewart

Taken on to help assist after Richard’s retirement. Lewis has grown rapidly in ability and confidence during his time with Networks Centre, becoming a trusted point of contact for our customer base and a valued colleague. Choosing to pursue a career path in education Lewis finished his time with Networks Centre in August of 2024 and all at Networks Centre Scotland wish him the best of luck in his future.

Jamie Farish

The heartbeat of Networks Centre Scotland. From his excellent customer service, his ability to handle whatever the day throws at him, his efficiency and work ethic, he never fails to deliver. Jamie coming on board was crucial to the success of the branch and I’m proud to have identified that and approached him to join in the venture.

-Ewan Wotherspoon, Branch Manager, Networks Centre Scotland

Networks Centre would like to say a huge thank you to the Scotland team for creating an inviting and supportive environment and for all their continued hard work.
